In a statement to TVLine, Jeff remarked, “Someone else suggested that Dierks Bentley would be joining the show. That is not accurate. We did reach out to him, expressing our interest in having a conversation, and he responded, ‘Maybe one day.’ I truly believe he meant it, but he indicated that it is not the right time.”
