Tom Hardy is facing significant challenges in the initial teaser trailer for his forthcoming film, “Havoc”. The 47-year-old actor not only takes on the lead role in this Netflix action thriller but also serves as a producer.
The film’s synopsis reveals that Walker (played by Hardy) is a battered detective navigating the perilous criminal underworld that threatens to consume his city.
Following a botched drug deal, Walker finds himself pursued by various factions, including a vengeful crime syndicate, a corrupt politician, and even his own colleagues.
In his quest to save the estranged son of the politician, whose connection to the drug deal exposes a complex web of corruption and conspiracy, he must confront the haunting aspects of his past.
The cast also features Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.
“Havoc” is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25th.
