Chace Crawford honored the memory of his late Gossip Girl co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg. The actress, renowned for her role as Georgina Sparks in the acclaimed series, sadly passed away at the age of 39.
On Wednesday, February 26, Chace, who portrayed Nate Archibald, took to social media to pay tribute to Michelle and express his sorrow over her loss. On Instagram, Chace Crawford posted a series of three photographs featuring himself and Michelle.
“Michelle was one of a kind. I remember her coming on set for the first time and just absolutely owning it,” he wrote in the accompanying caption. “She was a force of nature and just so so unapologetically funny and magnetic.. remembering those years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss. Love you ❤️”
Chace Crawford is not the only Gossip Girl cast member to react to Michelle’s passing; Ed Westwick also released a statement earlier that day, and several other co-stars have since shared their condolences.
