Tina Fey, born on May 18, 1970, is a famous American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She’s best known for her funny roles in sketch shows, TV, and movies. Over her career, she has won many awards, including nine Emmys and three Golden Globes, and was even named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in 2007 and 2009.
In 2010, she received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Fey started out with the comedy group The Second City in Chicago before joining Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 1997. She worked there as a writer, performer, and co-anchor of "Weekend Update" until 2006.
She later became well-known for her impression of politician Sarah Palin. Fey also created and starred in the hit sitcom 30 Rock, winning several major awards for her role as Liz Lemon.
