Stephen Colbert is a popular American comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host who is known for his work in Hollywood films and television series. He is best known for hosting the American late-night talk and news satire television program “The Colbert Report” (2005-2014) and the American late-night news and political satire talk show “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (2015-present).
Stephen Colbert has won numerous awards including nine Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards, and three Peabody Awards. In 2006 and 2012, he was named as one of the “Time’s 100 Most Influential People”.
On 9 October 1993, Stephen Colbert married actress Evelyn McGee-Colbert. The couple has three children together a daughter named Madeline Colbert, who was born in 1995, and two sons named Peter Colbert, who was born in 1998, and John Colbert, who was born in 2002.
