In 2018, Sara made her film debut with the Hindi-language romantic drama disaster film, Kedarnath. Later that same year, she also acted in the Hindi-language action comedy film Simmba, which was directed by Rohit Shetty.

Sara Ali Khan was born on 12 August 1995 in Maharashtra, Mumbai, India. She was born into the Pataudi family. Sara Ali Khan father name is Saif Ali Khan, who is a popular Indian actor and film producer.

Sara made her film debut in 2018 with the Hindi-language romantic drama film, Kedarnath, which was directed by Abhishek Kapoor. In the movie, she played a Hindu girl who falls in love with a Muslim boy, which was played by Sushant Singh Rajput.

Her performance in the film received mostly bad reviews because the movie promoted Love Jihad. That same year, she starred in the action-comedy film Simmba, alongside Ranveer Singh which was directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Dharma Productions.

The movie was very successful with worldwide earnings of ₹240 crores (US$56 million), Simmba emerged as the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2018. She also starred in the comedy film, Coolie No. 1 (2020), alongside Varun Dhawan, which is a remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 film of the same name.
