Jeremiah Brent and Nate Berkus have built a life together filled with love, interior design, and television success—but Brent is pressing pause on filming more shows with his husband for now.
“We did it for so long. I need a break,” Brent, 40, told Us Weekly while promoting his partnership with Almond Breeze. “I see him every day. I mean, I would do anything with him, but to be honest with you, doing this show, Queer Eye, has changed my life.”

A New Chapter with “Queer Eye”
Since joining Queer Eye, Brent has had the opportunity to work alongside Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, and Karamo Brown—a dynamic that he says has deeply influenced him.
“It’s changed who I am as a father and as a husband, as a member of the queer community,” he shared. “So I’m happy doing this right now.”
Brent and Berkus, 53, have worked together on popular reality series, including Nate and Jeremiah Home Project and Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House. However, for now, Brent is embracing solo opportunities while still maintaining a strong and supportive partnership with Berkus.
Growing Together in Marriage
Married since 2014, Brent and Berkus share two children: daughter Poppy, 9, and son Oskar, 6. Despite a busy life balancing work and parenting, Brent says his love for Berkus has only deepened over time.
“I love Nate more now than I did from the day I met him,” he said. “The beautiful thing about our relationship and something we work really hard to protect is the idea of growing together while we both grow individually.”
