Bhumika Chawla is a popular Indian actress who predominantly works in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. She made her acting debut with the Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film “Yuvakudu” (2000). She rose to prominence after appearing in the Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film “Kushi” (2001), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu.
On 21 October 2007, Bhumika Chawla married her long-time boyfriend and yoga teacher, Bharat Thakur at Devlali, Nashik in a Gurdwara. The couple has a son together named Yash Thakur who was born in 2014.
