Zooey Deschanel played supporting roles in films such as “Almost Famous” (2000), where she played Anita Miller, the rebellious older sister of a teenage journalist, and Tracy in “Manic” (2001). The couple have two children together, a daughter named Elsie Otter, who was born in July 2015, and a son named Charlie Wolf, who was born in May 2017. On 6 September 2019, the couple announced their separation. On 1 June 2020, Deschanel and Pechenik got divorced.
In August 2019, Zooey Deschanel met with Canadian reality television personality Jonathan Scott while filming an episode of “Carpool Karaoke: The Series”. On 13 August 2023, she and Scott announced their engagement at Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland.
