Yashasvi Jaiswal is a professional Indian cricketer. He plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is one the youngest cricket player in the world to score a List A double century.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was born on 28 December 2001 in Suriawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the fourth of six children to Bhupendra Jaiswal. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s father’s name is Bhupendra Jaiswal, he is the owner of a small hardware store.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s mother’s name is Kanchan Jaiswal, she is a housewife. At the age of 10, Jaiswal moved to Dadar, Mumbai, to receive cricket training at Azad Maidan. In Azad Maidan, Jaiswal stayed in a tent with the groundsmen. where he often slept hungrily and sold panipuri to make ends meet.

In 2015, Jaiswal first came into the limelight, when he scored 319 not out and took 13/99 in a Giles Shield match, an all-round record in school cricket, which was recognized by the Limca Book of Records.

He was the highest run-scorer of India’s U-19 team and player of t he tournament at the 2020 Under-19 World Cup in South Africa. On 7 January 2019, he made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.
