Last weekend in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, the former Miss Universe and running back for the San Francisco 49ers tied the marriage. According to the exclusive images published in Vogue, everything went off without a hitch.
However, there was one hitch in the joyful couple’s nuptials: Culpo’s covered-up wedding dress was despised by some online. Though it ran counter to some people’s views, the timeless Dolce & Gabbana custom design looked great with their traditional wedding.

“I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” Culpo told Vogue about the dress. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complementing me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”
