Unni Mukundan is a popular Indian actor, producer, singer, and lyricist who is primarily known for his works in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. He made his acting debut with the Indian Tamil-language romantic fantasy drama film “Seedan” (2011).
Unni Mukundan made his first Malayalam film debut with the Malayalam–language Indian drama film “Bombay March 12” (2011), alongside Mammootty. After struggling for several years, he got his breakthrough lead role in the Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film “Mallu Singh” (2012).
Unni Mukundan has appeared in several commercially successful Malayalam films including “Vikramadithyan” (2014), “KL 10 Patthu” (2015), “Style” (2016), “Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya” (2016), “Achayans” (2017), Chanakya Thanthram (2018), and “Malikappuram” (2022).
He made his Tollywood debut with the Indian Telugu-language vigilante action drama film “Janatha Garage” (2016), which became the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year with over ₹41 crores on the first day and earned over ₹100 crores worldwide.
