Tina Datta is a popular Indian actress and model known for her primarily worked in Hindi television serials and films. She is best known for her portrayal of the character Ichcha in the popular Colors TV Indian soap opera serial “Uttaran” (2008-15), opposite Nandish Sandhu and Mrunal Jain.
Her amazing performance in “Uttaran” earned her several accolades including the Producers Guild Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Her work in the TV industry has earned her a significant fan following.
She made her film debut as a child actress in the Bengali film “Pita Maata Santan” (1997). Datta starred in the Indian Bengali language drama film “Chokher Bali” alongside Aishwarya Rai. The film was based on the 1903 novel Chokher Bali by Rabindranath Tagore.
Tina Datta has also appeared in the Indian reality and stunt television show “Khatron Ke Khiladi 7” (2016), and the Indian Hindi-language reality TV series “Bigg Boss 16”, which premiered on Colors TV from 1 October 2022 to 12 February 2023.
