Thieves Steal $30 million cash in one of the biggest Los Angeles cash heists

The FBI and Los Angeles Police Department are investigating one of the largest cash heists in the city’s history after as much as $30 million was stolen from a San Fernando Valley money storage facility, a law enforcement source briefed on the investigation.

$30 million in cash was stolen on Easter Sunday. It happened in northern Los Angeles at a money storage facility. What’s that? Cash from businesses across the region? Well, they held there. Sources told the burglars broke through the roof by passing the alarms entered the vault by cutting through the ceiling and then exited the building by breaking through a rear wall. It’s one of the largest cash heists in the city’s history.
