Haasan made her acting debut as an adult in Bollywood with the Indian Hindi-language action-thriller film “Luck” (2009). Shruti Haasan’s breakthrough came with her lead role in the Indian Telugu-language fantasy adventure film “Anaganaga O Dheerudu” (2011).

She established herself as one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema with the successful Telugu films “Oh My Friend” (2011), “Gabbar Singh” (2012), “Balupu” (2013), “Race Gurram” (2014), “Srimanthudu” (2015), “Premam” (2016), “Krack” (2021), “Waltair Veerayya” (2023), and “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” (2023).

Shruti Haasan has received several awards, including two Filmfare Award South and three South Indian International Movie Awards.

In 2015 and 2016, she appeared in the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list. Since 2020, Shruti Haasan has been in a relationship with the multidisciplinary visual artist and Internet personality, Santanu Hazarika.
