Jimmy Kimmel started his career in radio, hosting a morning show called “Kevin and Bean”. He gained national attention as the co-host of the American television game show “Win Ben Stein’s Money,” which earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Game Show Host.

He has hosted a late-night talk show the longest of all current late-night television hosts in the United States. In 1988, Jimmy Kimmel married a Costume designer Gina Maddy. The couple has two children together a daughter named Katie Kimmel, who was born on 28 August 1991, and a son named Kevin Kimmel, who was born on 19 September 1993.

However, they got divorced in 2002. From 2002 to March 2009, Kimmel had a relationship with a popular American stand-up comedian, actress, and writer Sarah Silverman. In October 2009, Kimmel began dating Screenwriter and co-head writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live Molly McNearney.

The couple got engaged in August 2012 and married in July 2013. They welcomed their first child a daughter named Jane Kimmel, who was born in July 2014, and their second child a son named William “Billy” John, who was born on 21 April 2017.

In 2012, 2016, and 2020, he hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards. He also hosted the Academy Awards in 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2024. In 2018, popular American Time magazine named him as one of “The World’s 100 Most Influential People”.
