Suriya is a popular Indian actor and film producer who prominently works in Tamil films. He is considered one of the highest-paid actors in India. He made his acting debut with the Indian Tamil-language romantic action thriller film “Nerrukku Ner” (1997).
His first major commercial successful film is the Indian Tamil-language action thriller film “Kaakha Kaakha” (2003). On 11 September 2006, Suriya married an Indian actress and film producer Jyothika. The couple has two children, a daughter named Diya who was born in August 2007, and a son named Dev who was born in June 2010.
