Soundarya was a popular Indian actress who predominantly works in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She is best known for portraying the lead role of Radha Thakur in the popular Indian Hindi-language drama film “Sooryavansham” (1999) alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
On 27 April 2003, Soundarya married a software engineer, G. S. Raghu. On 17 April 2004, Soundarya died in an aircraft crash along with her brother Amarnath while traveling to Karimnagar from Bengaluru during an election campaign to support the Bharatiya Janata Party.
