Sean Combs Trial: Witness Drops $6,000 Cassie Sex Claim That Shocks Fans

Things just got even more intense in the ongoing legal drama surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

On Monday, May 12, a man named Daniel Phillip took the stand and dropped some heavy allegations. He testified that he was paid to have sex with singer Cassie—while Diddy allegedly watched from the corner and, according to Phillip, was “always masturbating.”

Phillip said he was paid between $700 and as much as $6,000 to be intimate with Cassie, but sometimes got nothing if he couldn’t perform. “I didn’t ask to get paid,” he said. “They gave that to me.”

Describing the first time he met Cassie, Phillip said she opened the door wearing lingerie, high heels, sunglasses, and a wig—and told him, “Your boss told me to hand you $200 upon arrival.” He said Diddy was already in the room, sitting silently in a bathrobe and bandanna.

From there, things got more graphic. Phillip claimed that he gave Cassie a massage in just his underwear while Diddy started masturbating in the corner. He said these encounters happened multiple times in hotel suites, and sometimes included role-play, baby oil, and filming. Phillip even claimed Diddy recorded some of it on his phone and took a photo of Phillip’s driver’s license—allegedly telling him it was “just for insurance,” which Phillip interpreted as a threat.

This testimony was part of a federal trial that began earlier this month. Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and faces serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s pleaded not guilty and has denied all the accusations.

Diddy’s legal team has called the case “unjust,” saying he’s been cooperative with investigators and is looking forward to proving his innocence. He’s currently being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, and his bail has been denied four times.

Cassie, who was in a relationship with Diddy from 2007 to 2018, sued him in 2023 for sexual and physical abuse. Though they settled the case quickly, it sparked a wave of scrutiny. In May 2024, CNN released hotel security footage from 2016 showing Diddy assaulting Cassie. He later apologized on Instagram, saying he was “truly sorry.”

Cassie is expected to testify on Tuesday, May 13—and all eyes will be on what she has to say next.

Stay tuned. This case is far from over.
