Prince Harry and Meghan finally breaks silence on royal exit

Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex and Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex have announced they will step back as a senior member of the royal family and work to become financially independent. during a speech at a charity dinner on 8 January Sunday night.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year is starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. we intend to step back as senior members of the royal family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support her majesty the queen.” Prince Harry made his remarks at a dinner for Sentebale, the charity he started in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help people in Africa affected by HIV and AIDS orphans.

Prince Harry also said they plan to split their time between the UK and North America,  specifically in Canada because before Meghan’s marriage, she lived in Canada and she was an actor in a TV show name suits. Queen Elizabeth II has agreed to allow prince Harry and Meghan to move part-time to Canada during a “period of transition”
