Wednesday, 28 August ko Paris apne pehle Paralympic Games host karega, jiska shuruaat ek shandar Opening Ceremony ke saath hogi jo France ki rajdhani ke dil mein hogi.
Shaam 8 baje local time par, Place de la Concorde aur Champs-Elysées 4,400 Paralympic athletes ko 184 delegations se swagat karenge, jahan woh 11 din ke competitions ki shuruaat ko celebrate karenge, jo 29 August se shuru honge.
Ceremonies ke Artistic Director Thomas Jolly ke mutabiq, yeh spectacle Paralympic athletes aur unke values ko showcase karega. Jolly ne iss concept ko “ek shandar prerna ka srot” bataya aur waada kiya ki “performances jo pehle kabhi nahi dekhe gaye” honge, aur yeh “spectacle jo spectators aur television audiences ko worldwide unite karega Paralympic Games ke unique spirit ke aas paas.”
Yeh ceremony phir se stadium ke bahar hogi, jahan athletes famous avenue par parade karte hue nazar aayenge, jo iconic square mein culminate hoga, aur hazaron spectators ke samne Paralympic Games ka official opening celebrate kiya jayega.
“Kitna shandar pal hoga hamare athletes ke liye, jo duniya ke sabse mashhoor avenue par historic Opening Ceremony ka hissa banenge, Paris ke saare charm ke saath,” enthused Jitske Visser, Paralympic wheelchair basketball medallist, IPC Athletes’ Commission President, aur Paris 2024 ke competitor.
“Yeh ceremony, jo sheher ke beech mein hogi, humari ambition ko strong symbol se darshata hai, jo iss baat ko position karta hai ki hamare desh ke pehle Paralympic Games host karne ke mauke par, hum inclusion ko logon ke beech samajh mein lana chahte hain,” kaha Tony Estanguet, Paris 2024 President ne.
