Matt Damon is a popular American actor, film producer, and screenwriter known for his versatile performances in the Hollywood film and television series. He made his acting debut with a small role in the American romantic comedy-drama film “Mystic Pizza” (1988).
He gained attention for his performance in the American war drama film “Courage Under Fire” (1996), where he lost a significant amount of weight to portray a drug-addicted soldier. Matt Damon rose to prominence for his role in the American psychological drama film “Good Will Hunting” (1997), which he co-wrote with his childhood friend Ben Affleck.
The film earned Damon and Affleck an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay. On 9 December 2005, Matt Damon married Argentine-born Bartender Luciana Bozán Barroso in a private civil ceremony at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau.
The couple has three daughters together; Isabella Damon born in June 2006, Gia Damon born in August 2008, and Stella Damon born in October 2010. Matt Damon also has a stepdaughter Alexia Barroso born in 1998 from Bozán’s previous marriage.
Matt Damon’s Height is 5 feet 9 inches or 1.79 meters. Damon himself said of his height, “I’m 5’10.” in a MoviesOnline.ca interview, and in 2013 an Autograph Hunter claimed that Damon told him: “I’m 5-10.5, maybe 5-11 if I stretch out”.
