Lisa from Blackpink Set to Release New Song ‘Moonlit Floor’ on October 3

Thai superstar Lisa, a member of the famous K-pop group Blackpink, is on a roll with her music career. On Sunday, her agency, LLOUD, announced that she will release a new song titled “Moonlit Floor” on October 3 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. This release marks another addition to her series of solo singles this year.

Before the official announcement, Lisa performed “Moonlit Floor” at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival, an annual event held in New York City aimed at raising awareness about extreme poverty. This year’s festival took place early Sunday (Manila time) and was a significant platform for her new song.

Interestingly, “Moonlit Floor” features elements from the 1998 hit “Kiss Me” by the American band Sixpence None The Richer. This upcoming track follows Lisa’s earlier singles, including “Rockstar,” released in June, and “New Woman,” a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía that came out in August.

While each of the four Blackpink members has been focusing on their solo careers recently, YG Entertainment, the group’s managing label, has confirmed that Blackpink will regroup for a comeback and a world tour in 2025. Fans are excited to see what’s next for Lisa and the group!
