Lady Gaga Confirms Engagement to Michael Polansky at the 2024 Olympics

Lady Gaga, a 13-time Grammy winner, announced her engagement to longtime partner Michael Polansky during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 28, referring to him as her “fiancé.”

The engagement was also captured in a video posted by Attal on TikTok, thanking Gaga for her stunning performance at the opening ceremony. The singer had sparked engagement rumors in April when she was seen wearing a sparkling ring on her left ring finger.

Gaga and Michael, a tech investor, first sparked relationship rumors in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas.

They made their romance official on social media the following February when they attended the Super Bowl together.

Gaga has rarely spoken about her partner publicly but mentioned him in a 2021 interview, expressing gratitude for his role in the safe return of her French bulldogs after they were attacked.

Besides engagement speculation, Gaga also faced pregnancy rumors in June, which she denied on TikTok, attributing her emotions to being “just down bad crying at the gym.” This marks the third engagement for Gaga, who previously split from ex-fiancé Christian Carino in 2019 and ended her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney in 2016.
