Kylie Jenner Covers Funeral Costs for Late Friend and Hairstylist Jesus Guerrero

Kylie Jenner is honoring the memory of her longtime hairstylist and friend, Jesus Guerrero, by covering the costs of his funeral.

According to a report from People on Monday, February 24, the 27-year-old Kardashians star has stepped in to support Guerrero’s grieving family during this difficult time. “As upset as she feels, she knows it’s so much worse for his family,” a source told the outlet. “She doesn’t want them to stress about money. She’s taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral.”

Jesus Guerrero’s Passing

Guerrero’s family announced his passing on Saturday, February 22, through a GoFundMe page set up by his sister, Gris Guerrero.

“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” Gris wrote. “He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.” She described his death as “sudden and unexpected” and noted that the family was making arrangements to bring him home to Houston, Texas, from Los Angeles.

The fundraiser, initially set with a $60,000 goal, has since raised over $96,000 in donations.

A Legacy in the Beauty Industry

Guerrero, 34, was a celebrated hairstylist who worked with top celebrities, including Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Katy Perry. While his cause of death has not been disclosed, his passing has left a deep impact on the beauty industry and the Hollywood community.

Kim Kardashian, 44, paid tribute to Guerrero via her Instagram Story on Monday, sharing a heartfelt message alongside a photo of him with the Kardashian-Jenner family and their glam team.

“Our glam fam means the world to us. We work together, vacation, and celebrate our lives together!” she wrote. “Our great respect for the art of hair and [makeup] has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and making some of our best friends. So when one of our glam family members passes away, all of our souls are crushed.”

She continued, “My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did. I’m praying for his family, his loved ones, and the whole beauty community who feels this deep loss of one of the most talented and kindest to ever do it!”

Khloé Kardashian also reposted Kim’s tribute, adding, “I couldn’t find the words this weekend, but this is exactly how we all feel. We become a family with our glam teams, and we share so much of our lives with them.”

His Final Project with Kylie

Guerrero had been an integral part of Jenner’s glam team and had recently styled her hair for the 2025 Golden Globes, where she made a high-profile appearance with her boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet.

With the beauty world mourning the loss of such a talented artist, Jenner’s gesture in covering Guerrero’s funeral costs stands as a testament to their deep bond and his lasting impact on those around him.
