Kim Zolciak’s Emergency Divorce Hearing: Shocking Concerns for Kids Revealed!

Kim Zolciak initiated an emergency court hearing earlier this month as part of her ongoing divorce proceedings with Kroy Biermann, submitting multiple motions against her estranged spouse.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Zolciak, 46, expressed serious concerns regarding the welfare of their children when they are in Biermann’s, 39, care. TMZ was the first to report this development on Wednesday, February 19.

Additionally, Zolciak articulated “significant concerns” about Biermann’s mental health in relation to the safety and well-being of their four minor children: sons KJ, 13, and Kash, 12, as well as twins Kaia and Kane, both 11. Biermann is also the adoptive father of Zolciak’s daughters, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 23, from previous relationships.

The former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta further claimed that Biermann has made efforts to completely isolate the children from Zolciak and has shown an “inability to refrain from disparaging” her in front of them.

The documents indicate that his volatile temper raises concerns about the possibility of an undiagnosed mental health issue that may necessitate further evaluation or treatment. Zolciak also accused Biermann of having “taken possession” of the cell phones belonging to their four minor children.

A subsequent motion asserted that Biermann “unilaterally instructed [Zolciak] that she would no longer have parenting time with any of the children” and purportedly “forbade” their four children from having any communication with her.

It was alleged that Biermann “restricts the minor children at his new residence during the day, only allowing them to return for sleep and to take the bus to school.”

Zolciak also reiterated previous allegations, claiming that Biermann is afflicted with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), described as “a progressive degenerative disease affecting individuals who have experienced repeated concussions and traumatic brain injuries,” according to the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Zolciak has stated that addressing Biermann’s mental health is “crucial in establishing an appropriate custody and parenting time arrangement that serves the best interests of the children,” as noted in the documents. She further “respectfully requests that the Court appoint qualified professionals to perform psychological and medical evaluations” of Biermann.

Another motion indicated that the “current emergency situation necessitates the involvement of a guardian ad litem” for their four minor children as custody matters are resolved.

Zolciak and Biermann were married for 11 years before filing for divorce in May 2023. The same court documents obtained by Us this week reveal that Zolciak has also submitted a motion to seal the case as their divorce proceedings progress.
