Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States and former Vice President during Barack Obama’s presidential term. Joe Biden was the Federal Senator for Delaware from 1973 to 2009, he is considered to belong to the right wing of the Democratic Party and chaired the Judicial and Criminal Committee of the Upper House of Congress from 1987 to 1995.
He is also the head twice, between 2001 and 2009, of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. An unsuccessful candidate in the Democratic primaries for the presidential elections of 1988 and again in 2008, he was chosen by Barack Obama to be his running mate as the running mate of the United States for the 2008 election.

He was elected with it, then re-elected after the 2012 election. In 2020, he won the Democratic presidential primaries thanks to the withdrawal of Bernie Sanders and chose Kamala Harris as a candidate for vice president.
After the presidential election, after a few days of uncertainty, the media announced him elected. Donald Trump then refuses to recognize his defeat and asks his supporters to march on the Capitol. But Congress certifies the results giving Joe Biden 306 out of 538 voters.

Joe Biden Biography
Joe Biden was born in Scranton Pennsylvania, on November 20, 1942. Son of Joseph Robinette Biden Sr. and Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Finnegan. He is the eldest son of a Catholic family, he has a sister, Valerie, and two brothers, Francis and James. He was raised in the Catholic religion, which was professed by his mother Jean who was of Irish origin.
Biden’s father was initially wealthy, but suffered many financial setbacks at the time of Biden’s birth; for many years the family lived with the maternal grandparents. 12 Scranton fell into economic decline during the 1950s, and Biden’s father was unable to find a steady job.
In early 1953, when he was ten years old, he and his family moved into an apartment in the town of Claymont, where they lived for several years, 14 then moved to a house in Wilmington, Delaware. First marriage
In December 1972, his wife and their three children were victims of a road accident, their car having been struck by the tractor of a semi-trailer. His wife and daughter Naomi Christina, aged thirteen months, were killed, and two seriously injured sons.
Joe Biden subsequently claimed several times that the driver of the truck was driving under the influence of an alcoholic condition, but the driver’s family denied this claim and the police never proved it.
