Jennifer Aniston hopes Matt LeBlanc celebrated his birthday by doing nothing, which is his favourite activity! In honour of her former Friends co-star’s 57th birthday, the 55-year-old actress celebrated by giving him a shout-out on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 25. Aniston opened her tweet with the words “Happy Birthday @mattleblanc” and a white love emoji.
“Hopefully, you’re not doing anything at all today. LOVE YOU,” she went on. The adorable note was accompanied by a video of LeBlanc that provided some context for Aniston’s birthday wish selection. The actor revealed in the video that he loves to do nothing for fun!
LeBlanc explained during an interview, “My favorite thing in the world to do, my absolute favorite thing in the world to do, is nothing.” “I’m great at it,” he continued, adding, “I should be a professional nothing. That’s what I could be. I could be really good at that. Because it’s so easy! There’s no rules. ‘What are you gonna do today?’ I’ll tell ya, ‘Nothing.’ Pretty simple.”
The identical video was posted by Aniston on her Instagram page back in March, along with a statement that expressed her gratitude for the sentiment, “Same @mleblanc same.” Between September 1994 until May 2004, the two celebrities costarred on the popular sitcom Friends alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and the late Matthew Perry (who passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54).
The previous cast still has a great deal of affection for one another. Aniston honoured her close pal Cox on her 60th birthday in June. Aniston began the caption of her Instagram post, “Celebrating this powerful, magical, mystical, interesting, interested, ferociously talented girl today!!! My sweet CC @courteneycoxofficial… she’s funny like no other, STUNNING on the inside and out.”

She continued, “Independent in the most gorgeous way, cares for everyone even if she doesn’t know you. Terrified of dogs even though I’ve never known her NOT to have at least two of them ☺️ Fiercely loyal to the end. She’ll redecorate a room like nobody’s business. Spot a smudge on a window from a mile (literally) away. She doesn’t care what other people think!! 👏🏼👏🏼 I can’t imagine a world without her. It’s one of my great honors to call her one of my best friends for life… Happy happy birthday CC. I love you! ❤️”
The heartfelt statement was shared with a carousel of photos and videos of Cox, including recent solo photos, shots with her 20-year-old daughter Coco, and shots with Aniston from the two actresses’ Friends days.
