Jamie Foxx is an African-American actor, comedian, record producer, songwriter, singer, and entrepreneur. He is famous for his role as Ray Charles in the American biographical musical drama film “Ray” (2014), for which he won the Academy Award, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics’ Choice Movie Award, and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.

Jamie Foxx was born on 13 December 1967 in Terrell, Texas, United States. Jamie Foxx’s father’s name is Darrell Bishop after converting to Islam Shahid Abdula is a stockbroker. His mother Louise Annette Talley Dixon is a simple housemaker.

Foxx was adopted and raised by his mother’s adoptive parents, Estelle Marie, a domestic worker and nursery operator, and Mark Talley, a yard worker. In his interviews, he said his grandmother’s influence was one of the greatest reasons for his huge successful life.

He completes his early education at Terrell High School in Terrell, Texas. In his school time, he received top grades and played basketball and football (as quarterback).
