Halle Berry Exits from Ryan Murphy’s Legal Drama ‘All’s Fair’ Starring Kim Kardashian

Halle Berry has cut off her connection to Ryan Murphy’s upcoming legal thriller All’s Fair on Hulu. According to Variety, the Oscar winner is no longer scheduled to feature in the film, where she was also supposed to serve as executive producer.

Berry’s departure occurs little more than a week after it was revealed that she will be starring in the series with Kim Kardashian and movie icon Glenn Close from American Horror Story: Delicate. The publication claims that a schedule difficulty is the reason behind Berry’s decision to withdraw from the new series, which is Murphy’s first under his Disney contract.

Some have called All’s Fair a seductive legal drama that centres on Kardashian as a leading divorce attorney in Los Angeles and an all-female legal firm. Berry’s job would have involved things that have not yet been made public.

Berry is now preparing for the release of two films this year: the suspenseful horror thriller Never Let Go, which opens in theatres on September 27, and the action comedy The Union, which stars Mark Wahlberg and debuts on Netflix on August 16.

In an April interview with ET, Berry discussed how her role as a mother affected her portrayal of a malicious ghost that threatens a woman and her small children in the film Never Let Go.

Berry said, “You know, we say as mama bears … we say, ‘I will take a bullet for my kids. I will do anything for my kids.’ This gave me an opportunity to really play that scenario out, right, to really take a bullet for my kids. Like, really put my life out there for them in a real way”.

The actress is the mother of two children: ten-year-old Maceo, who she shares with her ex-Oliver Martinez, and sixteen-year-old Nahla, whom she shares with her ex-Gabriel Aubry. “So, yes, I think of my real kids every step of the way,” Berry added. “It’s who I am. It’s what makes me.”
