Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and comedian Robby Hoffman are officially married!
The couple secretly tied the knot in a small 20-minute ceremony in Las Vegas earlier this year. Windey shared the exciting news in an interview with Cosmopolitan on March 5.
A Wedding in the Middle of Chaos
Their wedding wasn’t planned—it happened after they had to evacuate their home in Los Angeles due to the Pacific Palisades wildfires in January.
“We found love in a hopeless place,” Windey, 34, joked, referencing Rihanna’s song. “What better time to get married? If the world is ending, we want to be together.”
When they arrived in Las Vegas, they checked into a hotel that looked like a wedding suite, and the idea of getting married popped into Windey’s head.
“Gabby turned to me and said, ‘Should we get married?’” Hoffman, 35, shared. “I’ve been ready to propose since the day I met her!”
Even though Hoffman had planned to propose in six months, the moment felt right.
“Robby was ready to propose after just three weeks, but I kept saying, ‘Let’s wait.’ This time, it was my idea, and it felt perfect,” Windey said.
A Private and Special Moment
Since their relationship has been so public, the couple wanted their wedding to be simple and private
Of course, Hoffman still made sure to propose—with a custom crossword puzzle—before they officially got married!
A Love That Feels Different
Windey went public about her relationship in August 2023, sharing how different this love feels from her past experiences.
“She makes me feel so safe and loved,” Windey said. “It’s the kind of love I always wanted.”
Before dating Hoffman, Windey was engaged to Erich Schwer, whom she met on The Bachelorette, but they broke up just two months later.
She also shared that she had always felt a small feeling that she might be attracted to women, but over time, that feeling grew stronger.
From TV Romance to True Love
Windey first became famous on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor in 2022 and later co-led The Bachelorette. After everything she went through on reality TV, she has finally found real love—in the most unexpected way!
Now, happily married, Windey and Hoffman are enjoying their new life together.
