Dany Garcia was born on November 29, 1968, in Belleville, New Jersey, United States. She is the daughter of Cuban immigrant parents. Dany Garcia’s father’s name is Mr. Garcia, who was a Construction worker, and her mother Mrs. Garcia was a housewife.
Dany Garcia has one brother whose name is Hiram Garcia, who is a film and television producer. She was graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1992.
She founded her wealth management firm, JDM Partners LLC, in 2002 after working as an associate vice president at Merrill Lynch. In 2008, she stepped down from her both positions, after her ex-husband Dwayne Johnson asked her to manage his career.
In 2012, Garcia and Johnson formed the production company Seven Bucks Productions, which has since produced many films starring Johnson.
