Alex Borstein is a popular American actress, comedian, writer, and producer who is known for her work in Hollywood films and television series. She is best known for voicing a fictional character Lois Griffin in the popular American animated sitcom television series “Family Guy” (1999-present), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award.
She gained further success and popularity for playing the role of Susie Myerson in the American period comedy-drama television series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (2017-2023), for which she earned two Primetime Emmy Awards.

In 1999, Alex Borstein married actor and producer Jackson Douglas. The couple has two children together; a son named Barnaby Borstein Douglas, who was born on 8 September 2008, and a daughter named Henrietta Borstein Douglas, who was born on 1 October 2012. In 2017, they got divorced.
