Noah Schnapp is a popular Canadian-American actor, model, and YouTuber. He is best known for his role as Will Byers in the popular Netflix American science fiction horror drama television series “Stranger Things” (2016–present).
His character, Will Byers, is a central figure in the series, and Noah’s performance was praised for its emotional depth and authenticity. In addition to his role in “Stranger Things,” Noah Schnapp has lent his voice to characters in animated films.
He voiced the lead character, Charlie Brown, in the American animated comedy film “The Peanuts Movie” (2015). Noah Schnapp also played the role of Roger Donovan in the American historical drama film “Bridge of Spies” (2015).
He also starred in several independent American films like “Abe” (2019), “Waiting for Anya” (2020), “Hubie Halloween” (2020), and The Tutor (2023). In 2019, Schnapp launched his own self-titled YouTube channel. As of 2023, he has more than 4.77 million subscribers and over 1.40 billion views.
On 5 January 2023, Schnapp publicly came out as gay in a video posted to his official TikTok account. Although, Noah Schnapp has a crush on popular American actress and singer Zendaya. In October 2023, Schnapp showed his support for Israel in the 2023 Israel–Hamas war after the Hamas-led attack on Israel.
In November 2023, he posted a video on social media which went viral showing him sitting and smiling among people handing out “Zionism is sexy” and “Hamas is ISIS” stickers, which led to some fans calling for boycotting the next season of “Stranger Things”.
