King Von was a popular American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his contributions to the drill rapper scene. King Von gained recognition in the music industry with his debut singles “Crazy Story” (2018), and “Took Her to the O” (2020), which reached 44th position on the Billboard Hot 100.
He continued to release successful projects, including mixtapes like “Grandson, Vol. 1” (2019) and “Levon James” (2020). On 30 October 2020, King Von released his debut studio album, “Welcome to O’Block” (2020), which reached 5th position on the Billboard 200.
The album featured guest appearances from artists like Lil Durk, Polo G, Dreezy, Moneybagg Yo, and Fivio Foreign. His storytelling style, gritty lyrics, and ability to capture the realities of street life contributed to his popularity.
His Subsequent albums include “What It Means to Be King” (2022), and “Grandson” (2023). On 6 November 2020, at around 2:15 a.m., King Von was shot multiple times and killed at age 26 in Atlanta, Georgia.
King Von was in an on-and-off relationship with popular Texas rapper Asian Doll, but the two were reportedly not in a relationship at the time of his death. He had three children, one son named Dayvon Jr. and two daughters named Kayla and Kema.
