Riva Arora was born on 1 February 2010, in New Delhi, India. She was born into a wealthy Khatri family. Riva Arora father name is not available in the public domain and Riva Arora mother name is Nisha Arora, who is an Advocate in the high court by profession.
In 2011, during the shooting of Riva’s first Bollywood movie Rockstar her father died due to a leg infection and high fever. In her YouTube video, she described her father as a loving, caring, and supportive person. Her father always tries to complete her all dreams.

At the age of 2, Riva Arora made her first Bollywood debut with a musical-romantic drama film Rockstar starring Ranbir Kapoor. After appearing in Rockstar movies she started doing child modeling.
