Keerthy Suresh was born on 17 October 1992 in Chennai (then called Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. She was born into a wealthy Malayali-Tamil family. Keerthy Suresh father name is G. Suresh Kumar, who is a popular filmmaker and Indian film actor.

In 1993, G. Suresh Kumar founded Revathy Kalamandhir an Indian film production company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Keerthy Suresh mother name is Menaka Suresh (Padmavathy), who is an Indian actress and film producer.

Keerthy Suresh appears predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. In the early 2000s, Keerthy began her acting career as a child actress in the movies Pilots (2000), Achaneyanenikkishtam (2001), and Kuberan (2002).

In 2013, Keerthy made her first lead role acting debut in the Malayalam-language horror film Geethaanjali, which was directed by Priyadarshan. Next year she appears in the Malayalam-language comedy film Ring Master (2014), which was written and directed by Rafi Mecartin.

In the movie, she played the role of a blind girl alongside Dileep. The film Ring Master (2014) was a huge commercial success and was called a “super hit” movie of the year.
