Adani Enterprises Sells $279 Million Stake in AWL Agri Business

Adani Enterprises has a unit called Adani Commodities. This company sold shares worth 25 billion rupees (about $279 million) of a company named AWL Agri Business. The information came from stock exchange data on Friday.

According to data from the NSE (National Stock Exchange), Adani Commodities sold 39.5 million shares of AWL Agri at a price of ₹275.09 per share

Data from the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) showed that it also sold 51.5 million shares at ₹275 per share.

This selling price was about 0.6% lower than the closing price of AWL Agri’s shares on Thursday.

As of September 30, Adani’s unit owned 20% of AWL Agri, which means it held around 259.9 million shares in the company.
