Gadar 2 is a popular 2023 Indian Hindi-language period action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma and written by Shaktimaan Talwar under Zee Studios. The film is a sequel to the smash hit “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” (2001). The film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma.
Gadar 2 is budgeted at ₹60 crore (US$7.1 million). On 11 August 2023, Gadar 2 was released theatrically. The film received good reviews from critics, and became a commercial huge success, grossing over ₹691.08 crore (US$87 million) worldwide. On the popular movie review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 17% of 12 critics’ reviews are positive, with an average rating of 4.2/10.
