Trisha Krishnan is a popular Indian actress and model who prominently works in Tamil and Telugu films. She rose to prominence after winning the 1999 Miss Chennai pageant, which marked her entry into films. For her contributions to South Indian movies, she is considered the “Queen of South India” or “The South Queen”.
She made her acting debut with a minor supporting role in the Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy-drama film “Jodi” (1999). Trisha Krishnan made her first lead role appearance in the Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film “Mounam Pesiyadhe” (2002).
She made her Bollywood debut with the Indian Hindi-language political satire comedy film “Khatta Meetha” (2010). On 23 January 2015, Trisha Krishnan got engaged to a Chennai-based entrepreneur Varun Manian. In May 2015, the couple ended their engagement.
