Diljit Dosanjh is a popular Indian singer, songwriter, actor, film producer, and television personality who prominently works in Punjabi Music and subsequently in Punjabi and Bollywood films. He gained recognition in Punjabi music with his studio albums “Smile” (2005) and “Chocolate” (2008) followed by “The Next Level” (2009) with popular rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh.
Diljit Dosanjh made his acting debut with the Indian Punjabi action film “The Lion of Punjab” (2011). He made his first Bollywood debut as Sartaaj Singh in the Indian Hindi-language crime drama film “Udta Punjab” (2016), which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
