Trevor Noah is a popular South African stand-up comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host who is known for his work in South African films and television series. He is best known for hosting a popular American late-night talk and satirical news television program “The Daily Show” (2015-2022).
He began his career in South Africa with various television and radio hosting roles. He gained popularity for his stand-up comedy, addressing issues such as race, identity, and politics. From 2010 to 2011, he hosted a popular late-night talk show “Tonight with Trevor Noah”, which he created and aired on M-Net and DStv.
In 2017 and 2018, The Hollywood Reporter named him as one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media”. In 2018, Time magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
